Thrombosed Hemorrhoid Treatment – Handling the Pain during Pregnancy

Many pregnant women need some form of thrombosed hemorroid treatment during pregnancy and this is why many mothers ask their doctors how to get rid of hemorrhoids. Unfortunately once pregnant the medication you can take is pretty limited and that’s why a lot of times pregnant women shrug off the pain and wait until they have given labour. This is unfortunate, given that you will likely have to bear that pain for months. It’s important then that you try out some home remedies that are still good for your baby at the same time.

Pregnancy brings a great amount of joy for a parent. You have a small living human being, being nurtured until full term until you can bring the baby into the world. Given the weight of a regular baby you shouldn’t be surprised that you can develop haemorrhoids. This is because the weight of the baby is constantly pushing down and thus causing your blood vessels to experience pressure. Some of these blood vessels are in the anal area which is why you get haemorrhoids.

Thrombosed hemorrhoid treatment in pregnancy doesn’t usually include surgery. In fact surgery is rarely used in normal hemorroids to start off with and is only used in extreme cases. If you want to really treat your haemorrhoids in a way that isn’t going to be difficult or hard for your baby then you can follow the following advice.

Fiber is always listed as a way to help treat haemorrhoids because it goes straight to the source. The more fiber you have in your diet, the easier it is for your body to pass out waste which means the less it’s going to take for you to get it out. Broccoli and beans are some of the best possible sources of fiber that you will have and are great for the development of your baby too.

Wheat and oats are also packed with fiber and are a good food to help maintain your baby weight. Since oats are heavy on the stomach they will help you feel full without you over bingeing on food. It is important though that you don’t have too much fiber all at once. Since it can cause gas in a lot of pregnant patients, try to introduce it into your diet slowly.

Since you are left in the dark when it comes to pain relief, also try and take a sitz bath. This will not just help you relax a little more but will provide some relief. At the same time try and add some cold compress once in a while. The compress and increased fiber should help make this joyful time a little easier to manage.
